Kindly, note below the main procedure to operations in Brazil
We have to receive the docs at least 1(one) week before the arriving vessel date, because in this way we can verify if have any doubt/mistake and avoid any penalties.
Many important : we need an appointment letter, with signature of chamber of Brazilian Consulate OR Recognized by NOTARY Public from your side, kindly note other file model attached.

What we need to register the cargo at Brazilian Customs?
1 original mbl
1 hbl copy not negotiable via EMAIL
1 Cargo Manifest ( not for every ports )
Usually we need some sets of originals hbl for eventual change if required for your side in time.
To issue documents pls note as follow:

HBL:
Only follow the instructions from Shipper/cnee
The original can be delivery to shipper or can be delivered through us (when your company send by courier).
We always will follow yours instructions about this.
Special Rules of Brazilian Customs:
ALL HBLs AND MBLs WILL BE OBLIGATORY PUT
CNPJ AND NCM # (HS CODE)
We have a special rules in Brazilian Customs as follow:
The cargos should be register at Brazilian Customs:
UNTIL 48 hr before arrive of vessel in Port.
REMEMBER: Kindly be sure that we will receive the documents at least, 1(one) week before arriving date of vessel.

Penalties at Customs Brazil
PLEASE, NOTE THE PENALTIES ARE :
USD 5000 UNTIL USD 25000 PER SHIPMENT.
IT IS VERY HIGH WE KNOW..BECAUSE THIS WE ASK YOU TO SEND THE DOCUMENTS BEFORE AND WE VERIFY ALL DOCS TO AVOID PROBLEMS.
* FYI, WE NEVER PAID THIS PENALTY, DUE TO WE CHECK BEFORE ALL DOCS OK !!
